In Rostov-on-Don, on October 17, 2019, the final of the UMNIK-Digital Russia competition of the Innovation Support Fund will be held, where young innovators from the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus will present their developments to receive a grant of half a million rubles.
The All-Russian contest "UMNIK - Digital Russia" is aimed at supporting innovative projects in the field of end-to-end technologies of the digital economy to stimulate the mass participation of young people in scientific, technical and innovative activities and is being held for the first time. The winners of the competition will receive from the Fund development financing (up to the level of commercial application) of their scientific and technical ideas in the amount of 500 thousand rubles over two years.

Program participants are individuals from 18 to 30 years old inclusive, who are citizens of the Russian Federation who have not previously won the UMNIK program. In total, 34 applications were submitted for participation in the competition, of which, according to the results of an in-depth examination, 24 participants were selected who will present their projects in the final of the competition on October 17 in the South IT Park (the list of participants can be viewed on the website: https: // umnik .fasie.ru / novosti / digital-rostov-on-don / 9746.html). Projects will be reviewed by qualified experts - representatives of business and the scientific community, who will appreciate the innovativeness of the project and the potential for its commercialization.
