At the next meeting of the Investment Council, representatives of the business community spoke about new and ready-to-complete investment projects.
Manufacturing enterprises make a significant contribution to the positive dynamics of investment activity in Rostov-on-Don.
This year, the construction of the Alice Fashion Rus knitting factory was completed. The total investment in the project amounted to 600 million rubles. This made it possible to create an additional 250 jobs in the city. The factory will be put into operation in July.

Empils-Zinc LLC is going to transfer production from its current site at the intersection of Lermontovskaya and Serfdom to the north-western industrial zone of the city (1st Mashinostroitelny Lane, 21I).
Zinc oxide produced by the company is used for the manufacture of tires, as well as electric cables, ceramics, lacquers and paints.
Investments in the construction of the plant are estimated at 661 million rubles. The production capacity at the first stage will be 20 thousand tons per year, and at the second stage it will increase to 24 thousand tons.

The volume of housing construction continues to increase.
The implementation of a large-scale and socially significant investment project for the construction of the Krasny Aksai microdistrict has been completed.
The Yugstroyinvest Group of companies has crossed the mark of 200 residential objects commissioned in the south of Russia. During the five years during which the «Red Aksai» was built, thousands of Rostov residents have found new high-quality housing here.


At the same time, the developer paid serious attention to the creation of all the necessary social infrastructure. Thus, a new kindergarten-a nursery «Zhuravlik» for 160 places, as well as a school for 1100 students, has appeared in the «Red Aksai».
A private investor presented the concept of creating a creative space on the territory of the former flour mill No.2. The project provides for the creation of a modern public space with the preservation of the historical appearance of the building.
The volume of investments is estimated at 3.2 billion rubles. According to the project, the territory will be divided into nine thematic zones for hosting fairs, cafes, restaurants, coworking, a conference hall, an IT cluster, a park, a spa complex, a clinic, etc.
The head of the Administration of the city of Rostov-on-Don, A.V. Logvinenko, noted the relevance of creating creative clusters and instructed to create a working group to study the existing problematic issues.
Another interesting project for the use of industrial facilities was the creation of the first diversified industrial technopark in Russia on the territory of the Granit defense plant.
The total investment in the project will be about 1.5 billion rubles. Residents of the technopark will create 300 new jobs.
