Alexey Logvinenko: «The volume of investments in the first half of 2020 increased by 30% in Rostov»

Representatives of the business community spoke about new and ready-to-complete investment projects aimed at solving social and economic problems.

Head of the City Administration Alexei Logvinenko noted that despite the global economic recession caused by the pandemic, the main indicators of the investment activity of our city show positive dynamics.

— The volume of investments for the first half of 2020 in the full range of enterprises and organizations of the city of Rostov-on-Don amounted to 51.2 billion rubles, which is 30.2% more than in the corresponding period of last year, — said Alexey Logvinenko.

According to the director of the Department of Economics Polina Korostieva, the list of investment projects in Rostov consists of 59 projects worth 246.4 billion rubles.

— We have presented investment proposals of Rostov in the public space. These are 12 objects in respect of which it is possible to conclude municipal-private partnership agreements. The corresponding decree of the Administration of the city of Rostov-on-Don was signed on August 5. These are social projects that the city needs, — said the Director of the Department of Economics.

The list of objects is posted in the federal system torgi.gov.ru.

New projects were considered as part of the agenda.

Igor Perepletchikov, General Director of Atlantis-Pak, presented a project for the production of coextrusion barrier film. The investor plans to launch the first line this year. At the moment, the installation of equipment is being completed and preparations are underway for commissioning. The total investment in the project is RUB 2,223 million. The company plans to create 118 jobs.

Flash Energy is building innovative automatic filling stations in Rostov. According to its director Konstantin Vorobyov, the advantage of the project is that city residents will receive high-quality fuel at lower prices. Savings are expected by reducing the costs of construction and operation of facilities (lack of personnel, utility costs). The total investment in the project is RUB 1,260 million. It is planned to create 319 jobs. 38 gas stations are already operating. There are plans to expand the network to 250 filling stations.

The construction and commissioning of a plant for the production of metal closures (muzle) is scheduled for 2025. The Ama-Don company, which is implementing this project, plans to invest 150 million rubles in it. The company will create 108 new jobs.

The design documentation was developed this year, a positive expert opinion was received for the construction of an apartment-type hostel on Varfolomeeva Street. The Electro company plans to fully implement this project in 2021. The total investment in it will amount to 35 million rubles.
