The authorities of the Don capital announced the creation of an industrial park on the site of the former Granite plant in 2022. The details were told by the head of the Administration of the city of Rostov-on-Don, Alexey Logvinenko, at a meeting of the investment council under the governor of the Rostov region.

According to the city manager, in 2021, work will begin on the creation in Rostov-on-Don of the Granit Technopark, specializing in the military-industrial complex. The new zone will be located on the site of the former defense enterprise at st. Belorusskaya, 9/7 «G». The area of ​​the park will be 6 hectares. The facility will be put into operation in 2022. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 1.5 billion rubles.

There will be tax incentives for park residents. In particular, companies located in the Granita zone will receive an exemption from 80% of the land tax within five years from the date of registration on the territory of the technopark.
