An elite residential complex is planned to be built on the left bank of the Don in Rostov. Now the authorities are preparing documents for potential investors.

Alexey Logvinenko, the city manager of Rostov-on-Don, spoke about plans to find a place for the elite on the left bank. He stressed that for the authorities the left-bank zone is a growth point. Moreover, everything will develop at once: the sports cluster, the recreation area, and the area for housing.

As for sports, the authorities are already negotiating with VEB.RF regarding participation in the construction of a new ice palace. In 2021, Logvinenko said, it is planned to open the first stage of the water park and amusement park. For the development of the zone, the city has provided funding for the construction of a new collector, which will run from the Pervomaisky district to the Green Island and the left bank.

- As for elite housing, there is no investor yet, the documents are being prepared. In order for an investor to come, the city must do a lot of work, - the city manager commented on these plans.

He promised that strict requirements will be imposed on the new development. They will immediately demand to build roads, schools, kindergartens, parks. True, the authorities have chosen rather controversial landmarks.

- The left-bank zone should become one of the samples, as we now have the Veresaevo and Krasny Aksai microdistricts, - concluded Logvinenko.
