A working meeting of the First Deputy Head of the City Administration Yuri Ovchinnikov with representatives of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers took place. On the agenda is an urgent question: how to protect Rostovites from a new coronavirus infection when visiting institutions.

The leaders were informed that the sanitary and epidemiological situation was deteriorating.

Special concerns, as Yuri Vladimirovich specified, are caused by the functioning of catering establishments, clubs, restaurants at night, when most of the visitors do not comply with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements and recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor.

— Of course, most of the enterprises strictly follow all the necessary safety measures. However, many managers are neglectful of the requirements. An example is the results of the recent raid events jointly with the Russian MIA Administration for the city of Rostov-on-Don. 15 clubs, bars, restaurants were surveyed at night. As a result, 3 protocols were drawn up under article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, 10 monitoring acts were sent for further decisions to the Rospotrebnadzor RO, — said Yuri Ovchinnikov. — We do not want to allow the closure of enterprises in the city, because this is a huge number of jobs. I urge you to strictly follow the existing algorithms for working in the difficult conditions of the pandemic.

The leaders, in turn, expressed their proposals to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, to ensure the broadcasting of public service announcements in each institution and to restrict visitors' access to dance floors.

The meeting participants were instructed to bring the recommendations to the attention of the heads of all public catering enterprises. Also, in case of violations of the requirements and recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, contact the hotline of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
