The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes a number of new measures to support industrial parks and technoparks, said Deputy Minister Alexei Bezprozvannykh. Support will be provided from 2021. The Ministry of Industry and Trade sent a letter with offers of support to Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov, a copy of the document is at the disposal of TASS.

«It assumes compensation to private investors for the costs of infrastructure of industrial parks and industrial technoparks in the amount of taxes and customs payments paid by residents. The compensation will be carried out within five years (20 quarters),» — the Deputy Minister said. He clarified that the amount of support will depend on the amount of taxes, customs and excise payments paid to the federal budget.

15 new projects will be implemented as a result of state support. The total volume of private investments in the creation of infrastructure for industrial technoparks is over 50 billion rubles and in the opening of new production facilities — at least 100 billion rubles, TASS reported.

It is also proposed to support small and medium-sized infrastructure parks with an area of ​​up to 500 hectares, to extend from 2021 the mechanism for reimbursing the costs of private management companies of industrial parks and industrial technology parks for the payment of interest on investment loans. Bezprozvannykh reports that 828.7 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes for 2021-2023.

«The new mechanism for compensating investors' costs will work for 37 regions, including 10 regions with a low level of socio-economic development and 27 priority geostrategic regions from the spatial development strategy. Thus, we plan to level the existing uneven distribution of infrastructure sites for industry, more than 70 percent of which are currently located in the Central and Volga Federal Districts,» — he said.
