Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a Resolution on the provision of an improved measure of state support aimed at compensating part of the costs in the creation of new competitive industrial products for foreign markets.

Industrial enterprises creating high-tech products will be able to compensate for:

• up to 70% of the amount of funding for the current financial year for R&D for the creation of new competitive products;
• up to 30% of the amount of financing for the current financial year for the homologation of existing industrial products for export, to ensure that the products comply with mandatory requirements outside the Russian Federation.

«Against the backdrop of a pandemic-driven decline in global trade over the past year, industry spending on R&D has dropped significantly. The support measure approved by the Government is aimed, first of all, at increasing the level of competitiveness of domestic manufacturers of high-tech products in modern „post-like“ realities and at stimulating investments in the creation of new products that are in demand on foreign markets. When preparing the Draft Resolution, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, we tried to provide enterprises with a convenient tool that guarantees state support for a long period without burdening the exporter with unnecessary paperwork», — said Vice President of REC Sergei Vologodsky.

The submission of applications for participation in the competition and documents for receiving compensation will be carried out in electronic form using the state information system of industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia (GISP).

The exact date of the competition will be published in advance in the SISP, as well as on the REC website.
