The first meeting of the club of directors of enterprises participating in the national project «Increasing labor productivity» took place on June 29 on the roof of the technological co-working space «RUBIN». The leaders of the Regional Competence Center (RCC) gathered like-minded people of the lean production methodology — heads of enterprises that are already successfully implementing the national project «Labor Productivity» in order to introduce them to each other, discuss the issues of the national project in an informal setting and outline new prospects for cooperation.
Boris Sviridov, Acting Director General of the Rostov Region Innovation Agency, told the event participants that the idea of such a club came from the head of the RCC Oleg Belitsky last year: «It was necessary to live this covid year, to build up a reputation for such a meeting to take place today. You are all successfully applying a lean culture in your factories. But we came up with an additional format for interaction — to meet, communicate, exchange best practices. You need to invite each other to visit, see who and what did better, where you can learn, and where you can teach. Mutual enrichment is always right and necessary».
Boris Sviridov noted that the meeting was attended by managers, owners, or authorized representatives of 25 enterprises. «If we move forward at such a pace, then by the end of 2024 there will be more than 150 such enterprises. This is the locomotive and the basis of the Don economy. We want you to feel that you are the main value of this event».
The head of the RCC and the ideological inspirer of the Club of Directors, Oleg Belitsky, added that the best indicator of the effectiveness of the meeting would be the benefit of 1.5 hours spent with colleagues. «We understand that time is the most valuable and precious for you. But we believe that interaction, exchange of experience and business contacts between you are worth it».
After the presentation of the owners of the enterprises, Olga Kalinina, Director of the Regional Industrial Development Fund of the Rostov Region, spoke about the preferential financing programs for enterprises participating in the Labor Productivity national project. Natalya Novgorodova, Deputy Director of the Center for Increasing Productivity of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, presented the course «Productivity Leaders» and spoke about its goals and objectives.
The meeting ended with the presentation of certificates, letters of gratitude to enterprises from among the veterans of the project and the awarding of directors and owners for their adherence to the lean manufacturing methodology.
