At the international industrial exhibition Innoprom-2021 representatives of KZ Rostselmash and the Governor of the Rostov Region signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the project for the construction of a tractor plant. The volume of investments will amount to 6 billion rubles, according to the press service of the regional government.

As previosly reported by “Expert Yug”, the new plant will be built next to the main production site of Rostselmash. The enterprise will provide thousands of new jobs. 3 thousand cars will be produced here annually. The total area of ​​the plant will be 14 hectares, which will house production buildings of 62 thousand square meters.

The building permit has already been obtained. Preparatory work is now underway. The plant is planned to be built by 2023.

“We are starting a big project together with Rostselmash. In fact, a new plant will appear in the Don capital, it will be a powerful production. We agreed to provide all-round support for this important project. We will consider the possibility of amending our regional legislation in order to support this and similar projects with tax incentives”, — Vasily Golubev commented on the signed agreement.
